CD Modern Chamber Music is a musical proposal of academic achievement and a personal perspective of our newest modern music. We find in it music for small ensembles, duets for clarinet and piano that dialogue one to the other in a modern counterpoint manner in the Sonata for Clarinet and Piano as well as in the Fantasia for the same instruments. A string ensemble flows into a Trio with a delicious freshness of notes that move as water; it's a newromantic musical artwork. The CD finishes with a chamber piano concerto divided in three parts exalting the classical antique forms of writing a piano concerto but with modern drops and brushstrokes that lead to a mixture of textures and forms. It is indeed an academic conception in it's own way but at the same time brings to modern times a reliable freshness of sound.

CD Modern Chamber Music Vol 2 is a second album that complements the musical proposal of academic learning and the personal perspective that Darian Stavans has of our newest modern times. We find in it, solo piano music in the "Sonatina" and the "Variations", duets for clarinet and piano that gather six nocturnes for these instruments . The CD finishes with a trio for flute cello and piano bringing up a strong musical artwork with bright virtuosity and dialogues between the instruments immerse in a fluent environment . It is another academic conception in it's own way and by listening to it brings to modern times a reliable freshness in music.

CD Modern Chamber Music Vol 3 is the third production that complements Darian Stavans´chamber music collection. This CD meets two major works: the first one "Three Poems for Oboe and Harp" performed by oboist Michael Belser and harpist Nancy Brougel was first written for Contralto and Piano as "Three Songs" with texts by mexican poet Alicia Delaval. These three "Songs" or "Poems" are written under modal harmonic treatment, very common on middle age and renaissance musical works. The other work that accompanies these poems is the Fantasy for Two Harps "On the Unknown", a one tempo musical composition written under harmonies founded in the post romantic and the impressionism eras; it´s a musical adventure which leads us through a sound discovery that evokes the darkness and brightness that we all feel walking from our unknown to our known world. A modern musical artwork, highly expressive and performed remarkably by harpists Nancy Brougel and Alina Falconi.
